This website's main focus is the Internet in Transylvania. There are so many webpages dealing with the history, the ethnic conflicts, the poor economy etc. in the North-West region of the today's Romania, that we decided to concentrate only and exclusively on something hopefully leading toward a better future: everything related to the internet and/in Transylvania.
We want to present the possibilities that the Internet creates for better communication and, providing information about local ISP's, software, computer dealers, free email, web space to help the novice users. We also would like to complete our Links collection - by asking the help of our visitors: anybody can suggest a link to be included in any category.
There is a News (Hirek) page, too, where we feed the latest news from our own sources and from the net, all related to the title of this page, of course. Here too, anybody can submit news - the editor will decide whether to publish them or not.
In the main section there are Articles (Cikkek): papers, studies about the net and eventually reports presenting events that enhance or hinder the use of this technology. The other main feature is a series of interviews by Tamas Gergely (Stockholm) having the title Internetmakers. For details - click here!
The website is in Hungarian out of the simple reason that this is the mother tongue of its webmaster-creator. We would gladly accept any volunteer offer to help in translating into other languages, mainly English, Romanian, and German.
